The entire team at Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc., is proud to announce that we’ve been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas for the 7th consecutive year. The statewide survey held by Texas Monthly, the Texas Association of Business, Texas SHRM and Best Companies Group, recognizes and honors the 100 best places of employment in Texas, and we have been distinguished as one of the 2015 Best Companies to Work for in Texas.

On Friday, September 28th, the Cloud 8 Sixteen, Inc. team helped give back to the Austin community and had a great time volunteering at The Special Olympics. The event took place at Zaragoza Park in Austin and competitors, aged from 5 years old to 65 years old, participated in individual events as well as team events. Thirty-five members of the Cloud family volunteered as judges, scorers, and time-keepers in the Special Olympics Bocce Ball tournament.
It was a great experience for everyone involved and we had so much fun working with all of the competitors. It was really great to see the excitement and thrill of competition. The participants brought their game-faces and were excited to get on the Bocce Ball court to show off their skills. The Special Olympics is a great organization and it was fantastic to see how many people were able to come out.
Big thanks to the Austin Special Olympics for putting on such a great event.

Digital marketing firm Cloud[8]Sixteen has placed 887th overall and 93rdin the Advertising and Marketing Industry on Inc 5000’s ranking of the fastest growing private companies in America. A fact made even more impressive when you consider that there are nearly 7 million private, employer-based companies in the United States. This does not necessarily come as a surprise though, as Cloud[8]Sixteen has added 48 jobs in the past three years and nearly quintupled its revenue from $1.4 million in 2008 to $6.6 million in 2011.
This is the second year in a row that Cloud[8]Sixteen has made the list, a truly amazing feat based on how Inc calculates growth. Last year, looking at the company’s 2007-2010 revenue, Cloud[8]Sixteen achieved the rank of 167.
“We are delighted to make the list for a second year in a row. It is a honor to be recognized in this way, this is an award that speaks to the effort of every person in our organization and the trust our clients place in our company,” said Joe Devine CEO of Cloud[8]Sixteen, Inc.
Some other companies that have appeared on Inc’s list include Microsoft, Zappos, Oracle, Pandora, and Under Armour. In truth, many of this country’s most successful companies received their first national recognition when they appeared on the Inc 5000 list.
In order to qualify for the honors, a company must be privately-held (without being a division or subsidiary of another company), and should be able to show at least four calendar-years’ worth of sales. In addition, the company must have made at least $200,000 in the first calendar year and must be able to show at least $2 million dollars in revenue in the most recent year.
Cloud[8]Sixteen is a digital marketing company committed to increasing traffic and improving conversion, providing: everything from Web design and Live Chat lead generation to SEO, Pay-Per-Click, and Mobile Apps development.

On June 1, 2012, Cloud 8 Sixteen, Inc. team members headed to the K1 Speed indoor go-kart track for the company’s most recent quarterly event. K1 Speed features a track that is among the largest indoor tracks in the nation, and the 20hp go-karts allow drivers to zip around the course at speeds of nearly 45 mph.
After three hours of racing and many impressive lap-times recorded, a final race was held with the top finalists for the day. When the dust settled, the results were as follows:
Final Standings:
1st Place – Kim Curtis
2nd Place – Joel Davis
3rd Place – Tom Swanson
While the triumphant winners each left the victory stand with trophies in-hand, the entire Cloud family agreed that this event was one that should be repeated, fitting well alongside past events like the Cloud Masters Putt Putt Tourney, Cloud Bowling Challenge, and Field Day.
